I build tools that let AI develop, run and manage real business software, and the platforms underneath them that keep the result secure, reviewable and maintainable. Most of what I make is open source.

I started my career as a graphic designer, working on packaging and learning everything about print production. Later I moved into digital design, and eventually into programming. That path has come full circle: these days I write print-grade PDF engines and font tooling, and I still care about clarity, user experience and detail in everything I ship.

What I Do

Contember

Product and technology at Contember. I work on Fabrika, an open-source platform for company apps built with AI: it runs in the customer's own cloud, and the platform (not the app's author) handles sign-in, access, keys, audit and the review of every change before it goes live. I also work on Nua Site, an AI-powered platform for editing and managing websites, and on the Contember framework itself.

Netvarec

A small studio in Prague that helps companies decide what to build, what to buy and what to throw away, and then builds it. I act as external CTO for clients, lead delivery of web applications, internal systems, integrations and AI implementations, and help teams get out of vendor lock-in.

Graphic Standard

Leading engineering of the GS Platform, an AI-first brand operations platform covering the whole brand lifecycle: brand systems, content production in print, social and motion, distribution and analytics. That includes podoba, our open-source design system, and a Rust rendering engine that turns HTML and CSS into print-ready PDF/X-4 with CMYK and spot colours, from one codebase for both the browser preview and the final export.

Building with AI agents

I no longer use a code editor. AI agents write the code, and I plan the work, set the rules, review the result and steer. A big part of my job is designing the context, guardrails and verification loops that let agents work on large production codebases without making a mess.

Open Source

Tools I've built or co-built, mostly to scratch my own itch:

• Okena: a fast, native terminal multiplexer in Rust on GPUI (the UI framework from Zed)
• Nua Site: Astro packages behind Nua Site, including inline visual editing and build-time SEO, performance and accessibility checks
• Fabrika: an application platform with identity, policy, audit, deployment and operations for apps on Cloudflare and Zerops
• Pramen: a reactive backend runtime for TypeScript on Cloudflare Workers and Durable Objects
• Lopata: a Bun-powered drop-in replacement for wrangler dev with real local bindings
• Pletivo: a Bun static site generator that runs Astro projects about twice as fast
• Buzola: a type-safe React router built on the browser Navigation API
• podoba: a design system on React Aria and Tailwind
• Dotaz: a database client for PostgreSQL, MySQL and SQLite
• Ucho: user feedback capture with screenshots, annotations and debug info
• Tudy: a local dev proxy that routes *.localhost domains to your running services

Type

Type design is my other love. At Netvarec we run a type foundry, NC Type, and I'm building a Rust engine that regenerates a font's spacing and kerning from the glyph shapes themselves.
